This afternoon, a foley catheter was fitted to assist in cervical dilation, with an initial dilation of 2 cm. The individual experienced significant discomfort due to the large size of the belly, finding temporary relief by lying on their side. As comfort diminished, alternative positions were attempted, including placing a camera between the legs for perspective. Breathing became restricted, and strong baby movements triggered contractions. To alleviate discomfort, gentle taps and movements were made on the belly to encourage the baby to shift and induce labor. After six hours, active labor began, with contractions occurring every 7 to 10 minutes. Despite the intensity, the individual managed the pain while others in the household were asleep. Preparations were made to head to the hospital for delivery.
