A married couple, Mona and Tyler, experience a lull in their relationship and decide to take a romantic vacation to the Seychelles in hopes of rekindling their connection. Tyler selects a secluded home near the beach, which he believes will help his anxious wife relax.

While on the beach, Mona notices a stunning brunette woman in a sundress, whose appearance makes her feel insecure about her own body. As the woman sets up her towel directly in front of them, Mona feels increasingly frustrated and jealous, fearing that Tyler might compare her to this alluring stranger.

Mona's discomfort grows as the woman lays down, revealing her bikini, and she becomes angry, believing the woman is intentionally flaunting her body. Despite her feelings, Mona tries to maintain her composure and suggests leaving the beach. Tyler, noticing Mona's anger, offers to go to a nearby restaurant instead, but Mona insists on returning to their cottage.

Their playful argument continues until they encounter the woman hitchhiking, prompting Tyler to pull over and offer her a ride, despite Mona's concerns about the safety of picking up a stranger in a foreign country.
