The Jimi Hendrix Sex Tape
A memorabilia collector attended an auction in London where he purchased a trunk containing an 8mm film labeled "Black Man." Upon viewing the film, he recognized the man as Jimi Hendrix. This footage, believed to be a sex tape, has since become part of the archives of Vivid Entertainment. The co-chairman of Vivid Entertainment, Steven Hirsch, expressed confidence in the authenticity of the 40-year-old footage featuring Hendrix. He announced that the company would offer$100,000 to the Hendrix estate if they could definitively prove that the man in the film is not Jimi Hendrix. Hirsch stated that Vivid had invested significant time and resources to authenticate the footage, asserting that doubts about its authenticity are based on emotional responses rather than facts.
